How it Works

Getting your flooring installed is a 3 step process:


Your local Home Depot store has many flooring options to choose from. A Home Depot Flooring Associate will assist you in selecting the right product for your space.

After choosing your product, Home Depot will take your information and collect a small deposit to begin the process. (This deposit will be deducted from your total installation bill.)


An Advance Flooring Install Specialist will contact you to arrange an on-site consultation at your convenience. At this time, your Flooring Install Specialist will evaluate the area of your new flooring and take the necessary measurements. They will also discuss the additional services that are available for your installation.

Home Depot will contact you with a total price for your flooring installation project and process your payment (less the deposit you paid earlier). All payments will go through Home Depot & be backed by the Home Depot Warranty.


An Advance Flooring Coordinator will call or email you to arrange for the delivery and installation of your new flooring.

On your installation day, the installer will meet with you before and after the installation to ensure your satisfaction.

After reviewing the installation and confirming your satisfaction, the installer will ask you to sign a Customer Approval Form. The signing of this form starts the warranty on your new flooring and installation.

All flooring purchased and installed through Home Depot is backed by a manufacturer warranty. The installation will carry a one or two year warranty depending on the services paid for.
